U.S. Political Situation Likely to Affect Tokyo Stocks

   Tokyo, May 19 (Jiji Press)--The U.S. political situation is likely to affect Tokyo stocks next week amid lingering concerns over the difficulties facing President Donald Trump, analysts say.
   This week, the benchmark 225-issue Nikkei average slumped 293.14 points, or 1.47 pct, to close at 19,590.76 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Friday.
