Japan Nominal Wages in April Down 0.1 Pct

   Tokyo, June 7 (Jiji Press)--Japanese nominal wages in April dropped 0.1 pct from a year before to 277,261 yen, the government said Friday.
   Inflation-adjusted real wages fell 1.1 pct, according to a preliminary report by the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry.
   Real and nominal wages declined for the fourth straight month, mainly because the proportion of part-time workers increased.
   Nominal regular pay rose 0.1 pct, while nonregular pay, including overtime, declined 1.1 pct. Special pay, such as bonuses, fell 3.2 pct.
   Nominal wages of regular workers, excluding part timers, rose 0.6 pct, the first rise in two months.
