U.S. Firm Seeking Aid for Kyoto Anime Studio after Deadly Fire

   Tokyo, July 19 (Jiji Press)--A U.S. animation distributor has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support an animation studio in the western Japan city of Kyoto hit by a suspected arson attack Thursday.
   Sentai Filmworks aims to raise 750,000 dollars in the campaign to help Kyoto Animation Co., announced Thursday on its official Twitter account.
   "Our hearts and thoughts are with Kyoto Animation," Sentai Filmworks, which distributes Kyoto Animation works, said on Twitter. "Help us help our friends at Kyoto Animation."
   As of Friday morning Japan time, the campaign attracted over one million dollars in donations.
   The suspected arson attack left over 30 people dead and many others injured.
