(Update) Tokyo Confirms 57 New Cases of COVID-19

   Tokyo, June 27 (Jiji Press)--Fifty-seven new cases of novel coronavirus infection were confirmed in Tokyo on Saturday, the metropolitan government said.
   The daily count in the Japanese capital topped 50 for the second straight day and hit the highest level since the country's COVID-19 emergency was fully lifted on May 25.
   The cumulative total of infection cases in Tokyo exceeded 6,000.
   According to the metropolitan government, 17 of the 57 new cases are related to nightlife.
   People in their 20s and 30s accounted for 41, or some 70 pct, of the total in Tokyo.
