Japan June Job-Openings Ratio Lowest since Oct. 2014

   Tokyo, July 31 (Jiji Press)--Japan's effective job openings-to-seekers ratio in June fell 0.09 point from the previous month to 1.11 after seasonal adjustment, hitting the lowest level since October 2014, the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry said Friday.
   Separately, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said the seasonally adjusted jobless rate in June fell 0.1 percentage point from May to 2.8 pct, down for the first time in seven months.
   The number of jobless people decreased 1.5 pct to 1.94 million, the ministry said.
