Japan Aug. Coincident Index Up 1.1 Points

   Tokyo, Oct. 7 (Jiji Press)--Japan's composite index of coincident economic indicators for August rose 1.1 points from the previous month, the Cabinet Office said Wednesday.
   The coincident CI, which reflects current economic conditions, stood at 79.4 against 100 for the base year of 2015, the government agency said in a preliminary report.
   The leading CI, a yardstick for the economy's performance months ahead, was up 2.1 points at 88.8.
