Japan Aug. Coincident Ecoonmy Index Revised Down

   Tokyo, Oct. 26 (Jiji Press)--Japan's Cabinet Office on Monday revised down the composite index of coincident economic indicators for August.
   The revised coincident CI, which reflects current economic conditions, stood at 79.2 against 100 for the base year of 2015, down from 79.4 in the preliminary report announced earlier this month.
   It was up 0.9 point from the previous month, compared with the preliminary rise of 1.1 points.
   The leading CI, a yardstick for the economy's performance months ahead, was revised to 88.4, up 1.7 points month on month, from 88.8, up 2.1 points.
