Japan's Revised Jan.-March GDP Down Real 1.0 Pct

   Tokyo, June 8 (Jiji Press)--Japan's seasonally adjusted gross domestic product in January-March shrank a real 1.0 pct from the previous quarter, or 3.9 pct at an annual rate, the Cabinet Office said in a revised report Tuesday.
   The figures compared with the preliminary falls of 1.3 pct and 5.1 pct, respectively, announced by the government agency last month.
   The annualized rise in the revised report compared with a median forecast of a 4.8 pct decrease in a Jiji Press survey of 19 private think tanks.
   In nominal terms, the January-March GDP was down a revised 1.3 pct, for an annualized decline of 5.1 pct, against the preliminary falls of 1.6 pct and 6.3 pct, respectively.
