Japan's Revised April-June GDP Up Real 0.5 Pct

   Tokyo, Sept. 8 (Jiji Press)--Japan's seasonally adjusted gross domestic product in April-June grew a real 0.5 pct from the previous quarter, or 1.9 pct at an annual rate, the Cabinet Office said in a revised report Wednesday.
   The figures compared with the preliminary rises of 0.3 pct and 1.3 pct, respectively, announced by the government agency last month.
   The annualized rise in the revised report compared with a median forecast of a 1.7 pct increase in a Jiji Press survey of 20 private think tanks.
   In nominal terms, the April-June GDP fell a revised 0.1 pct against the preliminary reading of a 0.1 pct rise. At an annual rate, the GDP was down 0.5 pct, compared with the preliminary increase of 0.2 pct.
