Japan Revises Up Coincident Index in Sept.

   Tokyo, Nov. 25 (Jiji Press)--Japan's Cabinet Office said Thursday it has revised up the composite index of coincident economic indicators for September.
   The revised coincident CI, which reflects current economic conditions, stood at 88.7 against 100 for the base year of 2015, up from 87.5 in the preliminary report announced earlier this month. The index was down 2.6 points from the previous month, compared with the preliminary reading of a 3.8-point fall.
   The leading CI, a yardstick for the economy's performance months ahead, was down 0.4 point at 100.9. In the preliminary report, the index fell 1.6 points to 99.7.
