Tokyo, Jan. 13 (Jiji Press)--In his upcoming policy address to the Diet, Japan's parliament, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will stress his determination to realize larger pay hikes in this year's "shunto" spring wage negotiations, it was learned Thursday.
The speech, to be given at the beginning of an ordinary Diet session on Monday, is apparently designed to allow the public to feel the benefits of Kishida's "new capitalism" initiative.
