N. Korea Fires Ballistic Missile toward Sea of Japan

   Seoul, May 12 (Jiji Press)--North Korea fired a ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan on Thursday, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff.
   Japan's Cabinet Secretariat said that a projectile believed to be a ballistic missile has been launched from North Korea.
   The projectile seems to have already fallen into the sea, the Japan Coast Guard said, citing information from Japan's Defense Ministry.
