Tokyo Logs 4,619 New COVID-19 Cases

   Tokyo, Nov. 21 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo reported 4,619 new cases of novel coronavirus infection Monday, up by 594 from a week before.
   Six new deaths were confirmed among people with COVID-19 in the Japanese capital on the day.
   The seven-day average of new cases rose 16.6 pct week on week to 8,744.3, according to the Tokyo metropolitan government.
   The number of severely ill COVID-19 patients under the metropolitan government's criteria fell by two from Sunday to 17.
