Japan Revises Up Coincident Index in Sept.

   Tokyo, Nov. 24 (Jiji Press)--Japan's Cabinet Office said Thursday it has revised up the composite index of coincident economic indicators for September.
   The revised coincident index, which reflects current economic conditions, stood at 101.4 against 100 for the base year of 2015, up from 101.1 in the preliminary report announced earlier this month. The index was down 0.4 point from the previous month, compared with the preliminary reading of a 0.7-point fall.
   The leading index, a yardstick for the economy's performance months ahead, was down 3.8 points at 97.5. In the preliminary report, the index fell 3.9 points to 97.4.
