North Korea Fires 2 Ballistic Missiles toward Sea of Japan

Seoul/Tokyo, March 14 (Jiji Press)--North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan, the South Korean military said Tuesday.
The move followed Monday's start of the U.S.-South Korea Freedom Shield joint exercise.
"We're currently collecting information" about the missile firing, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters at the prime minister's office in Tokyo Tuesday. "There has been no report of damage in our country so far."
North Korea launched two cruise missiles from a submarine in the Sea of Japan only on Sunday.
It was the first ballistic missile launch by the reclusive state since last Thursday, when a short-range ballistic missile was fired toward the Yellow Sea.
