North Korea Claims to Have Test-Fired Hwasong-17 ICBM Thurs.

Seoul, March 17 (Jiji Press)--North Korea test-fired a Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile on Thursday, the state-run Korean Central News Agency reported on Friday.
North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un inspected the missile firing and criticized an ongoing joint military drill by the United States and South Korea, the news agency said.
According to Japan's Defense Ministry, the North Korean ICBM fired toward the Sea of Japan on Thursday is believed to have fallen into waters outside of Japan's exclusive economic zone, at a location around 200 kilometers west of the island of Oshimaoshima in Hokkaido, northernmost Japan.
