FOCUS: Kishida's G-7 Focus on Nuke Boosted by Zelenskyy's Visit

   Hiroshima, May 21 (Jiji Press)--Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's bid to spotlight the issue of nuclear weapons at the Group of Seven summit in Hiroshima received a boost from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's unexpected visit.
   Zelenskyy visited the atomic-bombed western Japan city to attend the summit of the major democracies in person, not online as initially planned.
   The visit created a stir among reporters here in the western Japan city and reminded the public anew of Russia's nuclear threats as a present-day, realistic problem.
