Dollar Slips Below 148 Yen for 1st Time in 2 Months

Tokyo, Nov. 21 (Jiji Press)--The dollar slipped below 148 yen in Tokyo trading Tuesday morning for the first time since Sept. 22.
At noon, the dollar stood at 147.71-72 yen, down from 148.90-91 at 5 p.m. Monday.
Dollar selling against the yen was prompted by a drop in U.S. Treasury yields amid expectations that the Federal Reserve will end its monetary tightening.
