Japan April-June GDP Revised Down to Annual 2.9 Pct Rise

   Tokyo, Sept. 9 (Jiji Press)--Japan's gross domestic product in April-June increased 0.7 pct from the previous quarter in price-adjusted real terms, or 2.9 pct at an annual rate, the Cabinet Office said in a revised report Monday.
   The figures came against the preliminary rises of 0.8 pct and 3.1 pct, respectively, announced last month.
   In nominal terms, the country's GDP rose 1.8 pct for an annualized increase of 7.2 pct, against the preliminary rises of 1.8 pct and 7.4 pct.
