(Update) North Korea Fires Ballistic Missile toward Sea of Japan

Seoul/Tokyo, Nov. 5 (Jiji Press)--North Korea fired a ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan on Tuesday, the South Korean military said.
Japanese Defense Ministry officials said North Korea fired a suspected ballistic missile that is believed to have already fallen.
The missile launch by North Korea came five days after the country tested a new intercontinental ballistic missile called Hwasong-19.
Pyongyang has been intensifying its provocations to coincide with Tuesday's U.S. presidential election.
Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba instructed government officials to collect and analyze information, provide information to the public promptly and accurately, and thoroughly check the safety of aircraft and ships.
