Ishiba Cabinet Approval Nearly Flat at 27.9 Pct: Jiji Poll

Tokyo, March 13 (Jiji Press)--The approval rate for Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba's cabinet stood at 27.9 pct in March, down 0.6 percentage point from the previous month, a Jiji Press opinion poll showed Thursday.

The interview survey, conducted over four days through Monday, covered 2,000 people aged 18 and older across the country. Valid responses came from 59.3 pct.
