(Update) Man Arrested after 2 Injured in Tokyo Knife Incident

Tokyo, May 7 (Jiji Press)--Police arrested a 43-year-old man who reportedly brandished a knife and injured two people at Todaimae Station on Tokyo Metro Co.'s Namboku Line in the capital's Bunkyo Ward on Wednesday evening.
At around 7 p.m., police received an emergency call from station staff that a man was brandishing a knife.
According to investigative sources, the suspect waved around a knife on a stationary train at the station, and cut two men who boarded the train.
Of the two, a man in his 20s was taken to hospital after suffering a cut to the head. The other, believed to be a foreigner in his 30s, was injured in the hand. Both were conscious, and are believed to be strangers to the suspect.
