Work to Restore Distribution Networks in Rain-Hit Areas Progressing Slowly

   Tokyo, July 11 (Jiji Press)--Major retail chain operators and logistic firms have been trying to mend distribution networks in western Japan that were severely damaged by the torrential rain through the weekend, but progress has been slow.
   On Wednesday, 14 convenience stores of Seven-Eleven Japan Co. chiefly in Okayama Prefecture remained closed.
