Sony Test Uses Aibo Robot Dog for Hospitalized Children

   Tokyo, Dec. 3 (Jiji Press)--Sony Corp. <6758> has started a trial for use of its "aibo" robot dog to treat the mental health of children hospitalized at the National Center for Child Health and Development in Tokyo.
   In the experiment, which covers some 100 children staying at the center, Sony, under a partnership, will measure the stress and anxiety relief results from interactions with aibo, until the end of March 2021. The company will also announce the findings.
