Defects Found in Leopalace21 Apartment Buildings

   Tokyo, Feb. 7 (Jiji Press)--Apartment rental firm Leopalace21 Corp. <8848> said Thursday that it has detected construction defects in 1,324 apartment buildings, located in 33 of the 47 prefectures in Japan.
   While a total of 14,443 people currently live in the affected buildings, the company plans to ask 7,782 residents in 641 buildings in need of immediate repairs to leave.
