INTERVIEW: Meiji to Increase Milk Production in China

   Tokyo, June 18 (Jiji Press)--Meiji Co. is considering increasing its milk production capacity in China to meet strong demand, Katsunari Matsuda, president of the Japanese food maker, said in a recent interview.
   The Meiji Holdings Co. <2269> unit "will consider strengthening the production line and the launch of second and third plants" in China as its current milk production there cannot keep up with strong demand, Matsuda said.
