Kuraray, Others to Face Antitrust Fines

   Tokyo, Aug. 7 (Jiji Press)--Japan's Fair Trade Commission plans to fine chemical maker Kuraray Co. <3405> and at least 10 other companies a total of some 400 million yen for repeatedly rigging bids for contracts to supply activated carbon for use at water purification plants, informed sources said Wednesday.
   The FTC is also set to order them to take measures to prevent similar wrongdoing, the sources said.
