Watami to Build Agricultural Theme Park in Northeastern Japan

   Tokyo, Oct. 7 (Jiji Press)--Japanese restaurant chain Watami Co. <7522> said Monday that it will spend some 6 billion yen to build an experience-based theme park featuring organic farming in Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture, northeastern Japan.
   The Watami Organic Land park, with a total area of about 230,000 square meters, will feature facilities such as farms, ranches, ateliers, restaurants and accommodations.
