Stores, Factories Closing as Very Powerful Typhoon Approaches

   Tokyo, Oct. 11 (Jiji Press)--Stores and factories are shortening business hours or suspending operations as very powerful Typhoon Hagibis is forecast to make landfall in central or eastern areas of Japan's Honshu main island on Saturday.
   Supermarket chain Ito-Yokado Co.'s all 124 outlets in Tokyo and seven prefectures--Ibaraki, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Gifu, Shizuoka and Aichi--will be closed throughout Saturday, due to concerns over the safety of customers and employees.
