Novartis' Sandoz to Buy Aspen's Japanese Operations

   London, Nov. 11 (Jiji Press)--Sandoz, the generics arm of Swiss drug giant Novartis AG, said Monday that it has agreed to acquire South African generics firm Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd.'s Japanese operations for up to 400 million euros.
   The acquisition is expected to be completed in the first half of 2020.
