INTERVIEW: Japan Post Chief Blames Sales Quotas for Scandal

   Tokyo, Feb. 11 (Jiji Press)--Japan Post Holdings Co. <6178> chief Hiroya Masuda said Monday that sales quotas imposed on staff caused internal rule violations related to sales of investment trusts at the company's banking and postal service units.
   "Imposing sales quotas was the cause of pressure," Masuda, Japan Post Holdings' president and chief executive officer, said in a joint interview with media organizations including Jiji Press.
