KDDI 1st Carrier to Mull Fee Cut since Suga Becomes PM

   Tokyo, Sept. 25 (Jiji Press)--KDDI Corp. <9433> said Friday that it will consider lowering its mobile phone charges, becoming the first major Japanese carrier to mention a possible price change since Yoshihide Suga became prime minister.
   "We will take his request seriously and make efforts to lower prices further," President Makoto Takahashi said at a presentation on the company's fifth-generation, or 5G, advanced wireless network service.
