Mitsubishi Motors to Cut 600 Jobs via Voluntary Redundancy

   Tokyo, Sept. 26 (Jiji Press)--Mitsubishi Motors Corp. <7211> plans to cut about 600 jobs through a voluntary redundancy program from mid-November, it was learned Saturday.
   The move is part of the Japanese automaker's efforts to reduce its labor costs under its medium-term business plan. The company is aiming to improve its profitability, which has deteriorated due to the fallout of the novel coronavirus crisis.
