Japan's Rengo to Demand Pay Scale Hike in 2021 Wage Talks

   Tokyo, Oct. 15 (Jiji Press)--The Japanese Trade Union Confederation, or Rengo, will demand a pay scale increase for the eighth straight year in 2021 "shunto" spring labor-management wage negotiations, President Rikio Kozu said Thursday.
   Rengo concluded that a pay scale hike is indispensable even though corporate earnings are deteriorating due to the coronavirus crisis.
