Fujifilm Group Applies for Avigan Use for Coronavirus

   Tokyo, Oct. 16 (Jiji Press)--A Fujifilm Holdings Corp. <4901> subsidiary said Friday it has filed an application with the Japanese health ministry seeking approval for the use of influenza drug Avigan for novel coronavirus patients.
   If approved, Avigan would be the third COVID-19 treatment available in Japan, following remdesivir and dexamethasone.
