KKR, Rakuten to Buy 85 Pct of Seiyu from Walmart

   Tokyo, Nov. 16 (Jiji Press)--U.S. private equity fund KKR & Co. and Japanese cybermall operator Rakuten Inc. <4755> said Monday that they will take an 85 pct stake in Japanese supermarket chain Seiyu G.K.
   KKR will buy 65 pct of Seiyu's shares from its parent, Walmart Inc. Rakuten will own 20 pct of Seiyu through a new subsidiary.
