SoftBank Group Sells Part of Shares in Uber

   New York, Jan. 12 (Jiji Press)--Japanese technology conglomerate SoftBank Group Corp. <9984> has sold part of its equity stake in U.S. ride-hailing giant Uber Technologies Inc. for 2 billion dollars, it was learned Tuesday.
   The sale, revealed in documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, is seen as a move to lock in profits following recent rises in Uber's stock prices.
