Japan 2020 Machine Tool Orders Hit 11-Year Low

   Tokyo, Jan. 13 (Jiji Press)--Machine tool orders received by Japanese companies hit an 11-year low in 2020 on weak appetite for capital spending amid the coronavirus pandemic, industry data showed Wednesday.
   Machine tool orders decreased 26.8 pct from the previous year to 900,753 million yen, the Japan Machine Tool Builders' Association said in a preliminary report.
