Toyota to Extend Quake-Caused Suspension of 12 Lines

   Nagoya, Feb. 19 (Jiji Press)--Toyota Motor Corp. <7203> said Friday that it will extend until Monday or Tuesday the suspension of 12 lines at eight automobile assembly plants in Japan, due to continuing parts shortages caused by a recent powerful earthquake.
   The leading Japanese automaker said that a decision on when to resume the operations of the lines later will be made while watching the parts supply situation.
