Japanese Automakers Log Sales Growth in U.S. in Jan.-March

   New York, April 1 (Jiji Press)--Three major Japanese automakers Thursday reported year-on-year growth in new vehicle sales in the United States for January-March despite production adjustment reflecting a global semiconductor shortage.
   Toyota Motor Corp. <7203>, Honda Motor Co. <7267> and Nissan Motor Co. <7201> staged a rebound from their year-before plunge during the initial phase of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
