NTT Rivals Urge Probe into Dining Scandal

   Tokyo, April 5 (Jiji Press)--Japanese firms that rival Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. <9432> urged the communications ministry Monday to investigate the possible impact on competition from a scandal in which NTT entertained senior ministry officials.
   The 21 telecom firms, including KDDI Corp. <9433> and SoftBank Corp. <9434>, called for examining possible influence from the dining scandal on the buyout in December of NTT Docomo Inc. <9437> by its parent, NTT.
