KKR Sets Up 15-B.-Dlr Fund Targeting Asia-Pacific Firms

   Tokyo, April 6 (Jiji Press)--Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. said Tuesday that it has set up a 15-billion-dollar fund to acquire businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, one of the largest funds operated by the major U.S. investment company for the region.
   Using the new fund, KKR is poised to actively invest in the manufacturing and services sectors in Japan.
