3 Major Japanese Apparel Firms See Earnings Slump amid Pandemic

   Tokyo, April 15 (Jiji Press)--Three major Japanese apparel companies saw their earnings in the year through February slump amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
   They struggled as a coronavirus state of emergency had been issued twice--in spring 2020 and earlier this year. The first emergency especially hit the apparel firms hard through temporary store closures.
