Japan Convenience Store Sales Up 1.9 Pct in March

   Tokyo, April 20 (Jiji Press)--Sales at convenience stores in Japan in March rose 1.9 pct from a year before to 861.7 billion yen on a same-store basis, up for the first time in 13 months, the Japan Franchise Association said Tuesday.
   The rise came after the impact of the spread of the novel coronavirus had run its course.
