Japan Restaurant Sales Down 2.9 Pct in March

   Tokyo, April 26 (Jiji Press)--Restaurant sales in Japan in March fell 2.9 pct from a year before on an all-store basis, down for the 13th successive month amid the new coronavirus crisis, industry data showed Monday.
   The figure plunged 19.6 pct from the March 2019 level, before the coronavirus crisis started dampening restaurant sales in the country, according to the Japan Food Service Association.
