Tokyo, April 27 (Jiji Press)--Major Japanese retailer Aeon Co. <8267> will offer special allowances of 10,000 to 20,000 yen to some 450,000 workers at home and abroad, to thank them for their labor despite the risk of contracting the new coronavirus, company officials said Tuesday.
