Aeon, Ito-Yokado Malls to Remain Closed in Tokyo, Osaka

   Tokyo, May 12 (Jiji Press)--Shopping malls run by Aeon Mall Co. <8905> and Ito-Yokado Co. will remain basically closed in Tokyo and Osaka Prefecture, where the government's coronavirus state of emergency has been extended.
   The government extended the state of emergency in Tokyo and the western prefectures of Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo, originally set to expire Tuesday, until May 31. Starting Wednesday, the measure also covers the central prefecture of Aichi and the southwestern prefecture of Fukuoka.
