JAL-Qantas Joint Biz Plan Rejected by Aussie Authorities

   Sydney, Sept. 13 (Jiji Press)--The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission announced Monday that it will not approve a joint business plan between Japan Airlines <9201> and Qantas Airways.
   The Japanese and Australian air carriers' joint business deal "would likely lead to reduced competition as international travel resumes, to the detriment of passengers travelling between Australia and Japan," the ACCC said in a statement.
