Sumitomo Mitsui Reports Forex Remittance Delays Due to Glitch

   Tokyo, Oct. 13 (Jiji Press)--Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. said Wednesday that the previous day's glitch in its foreign exchange-related system caused up to 91 cases of foreign exchange remittance delays, mainly affecting corporate clients.
   The Japanese bank said it will take necessary procedures after contacting affected clients and financial institutions.
