Shinsei Bank Cancels Shareholders' Meeting on SBI Takeover Bid

   Tokyo, Nov. 24 (Jiji Press)--Shinsei Bank <8303> on Wednesday canceled an extraordinary shareholders' meeting that was scheduled for Thursday to vote on the company's defense measure against SBI Holdings Inc.'s <8473> takeover bid.
   The bank explained that it no longer needs to adopt the defense measure, as it has changed its stance on the takeover bid from opposition to neutrality.
